Reading Intervention and Other Services

Build: A K-1 Early Reading Intervention

A 100-lesson reading intervention developed by Scottish Rite that addresses the five specific components of reading intervention.  Each component is taught developmentally using a direct, systematic, cumulative, multisensory method of introduction and practice to meet the specific needs of kindergarten and 1st grade students who are struggling in reading.

Kindergarten Preparation

We offer fun early literacy instruction using systematic, multisensory strategies to help students start kindergarten strong.

Jet: A Fast-Paced Reading Intervention

A one-year, fast-paced reading intervention for older students with dyslexia that is designed to improve word recognition, reading, fluency, and comprehension.

Individualized Tutoring

Tailored instruction to meet specific needs based on current academic performance in language arts skills.

Dyslexia Support

We offer support for students who are currently completing dyslexia intervention in school to reinforce what they are learning.  We have specific experience with Reading by Design, Take Flight, Jet, and Build, but we can offer review of skills to support any dyslexia program.

Parental Support

We work with parents to help them understand IEP testing and documents in preparation for ARD meetings. Parents are their child’s most prominent advocate, and we equip you with the knowledge to walk into an ARD meeting with specific questions and requests for services and accommodations.
